1. The installation position of the transmitter should be selected to fill the interior of the measuring tube at any time to prevent the illusion that the measurement tube is free of liquid and the pointer is not zero. It is advisable to install it vertically to reduce the error caused by bubbles generated by the flow of fluid through the electrode.
2. The electromagnetic flowmeter signal is relatively weak, with a full range of only 2.5 to 8mV, and the output is only a few microvolts when the flow is very low. Minor external interference can affect the accuracy of the measurement. Therefore, the housing of the transmitter, the shielding wire, the measuring tube and the pipes on both sides of the transmitter should be grounded. And to set up a separate location, it must not be shared with the motor. The transmission part is grounded by cable. Do not ground to avoid interference due to different states.
3, the transducer and the secondary meter must use the power supply of the same line, otherwise the instrument can not work properly because the phase difference between the detection signal and the feedback signal is 120 °.
4. The installation position of the transmitter should be far away from all magnetic sources and should not vibrate. The guide line will generate interference potential in the magnetic field.
5. The cable between the transmitter and the inverter shall use the special cable provided by the manufacturer. Do not replace other cables at will.
6. The transmitter should be installed in a place that is easy to dismantle and is mainly used to measure easily graded media. When the signal is found to be getting smaller, remove the scale immediately.
7. Do not use steam to clean the pipes so as not to damage the lining. If steam is needed, remove the flow transmitter.
Conditions for installing a transmitter in a pipeline
1. The installation location and location should be as required, but the electrode shaft must be close to the level.
2. Ensure that the measuring tube can completely fill the medium and pay attention to the flow direction.
3. In order to avoid Eddy currents, it is necessary to ensure that the distance of the upstream straight section is 5D and the distance of the downstream straight section is 2D. If the flow of the medium itself is Eddy currents, it is necessary to add upstream and downstream straight pipes or install fluid rectifiers.
4. Install position away from strong electromagnetic field.
5. Measurement of wear media needs to be installed vertically.
