working principle:
The LM ultrasonic material (liquid) position meter is composed of an ultrasonic sensor and an electronic transmitter unit. The sensor is installed on the upper part of the container, and under the control of the electronic unit, the sensor emits a bundle of ultrasonic pulses to the object to be measured. The sound wave is reflected by the surface of the object and is converted by the sensor into an electrical signal from the ultrasonic wave to the re-received. The time is proportional to the distance from the sensor to the measured object. The electronic unit detects the time and calculates the sound according to the known sound speed. The distance measured by the CPU can be used to derive the level value. The propagation speed of ultrasonic waves in the gas is affected by the temperature of the gas. Therefore, when the level gauge is working, it is necessary to detect the temperature of the gas and compensate the speed of sound to ensure the measurement accuracy.
